Fill the Pantry Food Project Helps Give Food to DC Residents

Coppin State University and Northern Virginia Community College are organizing a food drive as part of the Fill the Pantry food project. Although most holiday food drives have ended, the need in DC for drives does not stop. Studies have shown that over 32 percent of DC residents over the past year have experienced food insecurities at one point. This number is staggering and there are plenty of food drives that can always use more support.
